Condition: Book shows shelf wear, but is in good condition for its age. The cover is absolutely lovely. Green blue board with magnificent gilt stamped design featuring floral pattern. There is rubbing along edges and corners. Spine color and gilt have faded. Tail of spine is torn, exposing crash, can be fixed with a dab of glue. Penciled inscription on end page. Front hinge cracked, back hinge strong. Very pretty title page done in color with frontispiece featuring a photo of Lake Geneva. Preface page and title page are slightly torn at joint. Text block has minimal toning and is crisp and legible. Collectible.
