Description

Frankenstein Animated Feature; 1984; DVD; [6440]

This version takes a twist on the old tale and makes the creature more of a misunderstood hero than a monster. It’s well drawn, bloody, and even tries to teach us the lesson of not judging people solely by outward appearance. Mary Shelley’s grotesque, pitiable creature comes to life in this adult-oriented animated feature with the voice of Carrie Fisher. Contains graphic violence.

This Japanese animated version takes a twist on the old tale with voices by Carrie Fisher, John Gielgud, Robert Powell, and David Warner.
